AS Monaco have ended their pursuit of Chelsea forward Armando Broja, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

AS Monaco has now shifted its focus to the 23-year-old FC Metz forward Georges Mikautadze.
Despite acquiring Folarin Balogun from Arsenal last summer, AS Monaco is seeking further reinforcements following the departure of their legendary striker Wissam Ben Yedder.

Armando Broja, who has also been linked with AC Milan and Watford, was a significant target for the club. However, Chelsea’s high asking price for the him proved to be a significant barrier.

Consequently, negotiations have stalled and are not expected to resume.
AS Monaco has now concentrated its efforts on securing Georges Mikautadze from Metz.
Georges Mikautadze has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the club, although he has publicly denied this. Despite his denial, Monaco remains the frontrunner, with talks progressing well.
Armando Broja’s future at Chelsea is uncertain as he is being overlooked by the team.
