Arsenal have reportedly set a date to finalize the signing of 22-year-old Italian international and Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori.

Following the inability to win the Premier League last season, Arsenal are now focusing on strengthening their defense for the 2024/2025 season with Calafiori’s addition.
Riccardo Calafiori is expected to provide competition for Arsenal’s primary center-back duo, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.

Recent reports indicate that Arsenal have already agreed on personal terms with Riccardo Calafiori, who has attracted interest from Chelsea and Juventus.
The Gunners have reached an agreement with the Italy international for a long-term contract extending until June 2029.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal aim to finalize the deal for Riccardo Calafiori by next week, with further negotiations scheduled with Bologna. Bologna is reportedly seeking a transfer fee around €50 million.
In the coming week, Riccardo Calafiori will bid farewell to the lovely Bologna fans who have been very supportive of his career.
