Are JLO and Leah Remini still friends?

Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini first met at the premiere of Denzel Washington’s film “Man on Fire” in 2004.

Lopez had recently begun dating her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who was good friends with Remini and her husband, Angelo Pagan, at the time.

Lopez and Remini’s friendship has grown stronger over time.

Although the two have a lot in common, their professions and personal lives have led them in opposite ways.

In fact, despite being best friends for many years, the 2018 film “Second Act” marked the first time the two would co-star in a film.

During that period, the couple experienced a number of personal challenges. While Lopez’s divorce from Anthony definitely made headlines, Remini’s well-documented struggle with the Church of Scientology is not far behind.

After leaving Scientology in 2013, Remini soon became engaged in a nasty media battle with the organization, and her award-winning A&E docu-series “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” angered church members even more.

Lopez and Remini’s unbreakable relationship shines through regardless of where they find themselves. And there is no question that the two will be closest friends for the rest of their lives
