Apple is yet again about to release their newest iOS Operating System like they do every year. The new iOS is usually released for the general public a few days after the release of their new devices.

On 14th September 2021, Apple released their new devices; iPhone 13 models, iPad 9 and Apple iWatch Series 7. The new iOS 15 is set to introduce new features on several apps on Apple devices.

Apple iOS 15 Release Date & Time

In June 2021, Apple introduced the latest version of its iOS Operating system, and announced that it will be released to the general public on Monday, 20th September 2021 at exactly 5:00 PM GMT. However, the beta version was released on 30th June 2021.

Apple has announced that they will make several major changes to the new Operating System will which be filled with loads of new features. Here are some of the most notable features to look out for;

  • FaceTime calls can be connected to Android and Window devices
  • iPhone notifications change with Focus
  • Weather and Maps apps get updated
  • Text recognition in images; users can copy texts in images
  • Added privacy features
  • ID Cards in Wallet app
