Dennard played college football at NAIA Langston University in Oklahoma, where he had 80 tackles and 8 interceptions during his career from 2008 to 2011.

He was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent out of Langston University in 2012 but was waived later that year.

Dennard had brief stints with the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and Jacksonville Jaguars in his career, although he never played in a regular-season game.

Following his playing career, Dennard took up coaching young players.
