A singer and actress from Norway, Anita Thallaug was born on February 14, 1938, and died on March 20, 2023. The 14th of February 1938 saw Thallaug’s birth in Baerum.

Thallaug made appearances in films, musicals, and TV shows. She began playing at the Oslo Spider theater at the age of seven under the name Vesla Rolfsen. At NRK children’s shows in the 1950s, she frequently appeared. By performing the song “Solhverv,” Thallaug represented Norway in the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest and placed thirteenth overall (last). She was the first of four competitors from Norway to receive a zero point score. A 85-year-old woman, she passed away on March 20, 2023.

Anita Thallaug Cause of Death
The cause of Anita Thallaug’s passing is yet unknown. At the age of seven, Thallaug made his acting debut in a children’s revue under the direction of Leif Juster. Later, she appeared in other movies, including the first Norwegian adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, in which she provided the voice of Alice.
