Angella Franklin Keihongani Katatumba popularly known as Angella Katatumba is a Ugandan vocal singer, businesswoman, diplomat, and Philanthropist. Angella Katatumba was born on February 21, 1975, in Nairobi Kenya to Prof Boney Katatumba and Gertrude Katatumba.
Angella Katatumba received her primary at the Katumba Academy in Uganda after which she went to Belmont Senior Secondary School in Vancouver, B.C. Katatumba also went to Canada where she obtained a diploma in public relations. Angella also acquired her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at Oxford University in England and moved to Chicago to work there for a number of years.
Angello has an NGO called the Angella Katumba Development Foundation which is the umbrella of three of Angella’s music projects. Angella also has a career in music of which she gained a lot of popularity. She owns her own record label that records her music.

Angella Katatumba is the daughter of Honorary Consul H.E Prof. Boney Katatumba and Gertrude Katatumba, the proprietor of AFK Beauty Clinic Kabalagala. Angella has a sister, Rosemary, and seven brothers; Allan, Dennis, Rugiriwa, Colin, Ken, Lan, and Jay. Angella is the twin sister of Rugiriwa Katatumba.
