Angel Reese is set to join the new Unrivaled 3×3 professional women’s basketball league for its inaugural season.

The Chicago Sky rookie will be part of the league, which is co-founded by Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier and reigning WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart of the Liberty.
Unrivaled will feature 30 athletes across six teams and will begin its season in Miami in January 2025. The league offers WNBA players the chance to play domestically during the offseason while earning a salary.

So far, Reese and nine other top players, including Stewart, Collier, Kelsey Plum, and Rhyne Howard, have confirmed their participation. With 20 spots still open, the league is set to showcase a range of talent.
The WNBA has seen a surge in viewership, highlighted by a record-breaking All-Star game that drew 3.44 million viewers.
The game, which featured Reese and Caitlin Clark—both rookies who received All-Star honors—saw Team WNBA defeat Team USA 117-109, surpassing past viewership records.
