The Black Stars captain, aged 34, scored his fifth goal of the season for Le Havre in a crucial match against Racing Strasbourg.
His late goal in the 96th minute sealed a 3-1 victory for his team, lifting them three points clear of the relegation zone.
Ayew’s performance makes him the top-scoring Ghanaian player in the French topflight this season, surpassing Ernest Nuamah who has three goals.
Despite joining Le Havre as a free agent in November, Ayew has quickly become a vital player for the team, featuring in 18 matches across all competitions and contributing six goals.

Earlier in March, Ayew celebrated a personal milestone by scoring his 50th goal in Ligue 1 against Clermont Foot.
Beyond his on-field achievements, Ayew recently spoke about the challenges facing the Black Stars, urging for calm amidst disappointing results.
He emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and working hard to bring pride to the nation.
While Ayew’s future at Le Havre remains uncertain due to his short-term contract, his impact on the pitch and leadership off it continue to shine brightly.
