Alfred Nganga Mutua is a former spokesperson of the Kenyan government and the incumbent governor of Machakos County, Kenya. He is actually the first governor of the county.

Alfred Mutua was born on August 22, 1970, in Machakos, the capital city of the Machakos County to his parents Agnes Mutua and Habil Otieno Lut.
Alfred started his educational path as a student of Guadalupe Catholic Church Nursery school, then of Toi Primary School in Kibera.
After primary school, he managed to finish Dagoretti High School. He was able to finish Whitworth College, USA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. Alfred became an active public speaker and author.
His numerous publications and interviews on BBC paved the way for him to become a spokesman to the entire Kenyan central government.

Alfred Mutua Wife and Child
Matua was married to Josephine Thitu and later divorced her. He is often seen playing love with Lilian Nganga his second wife. On Sunday August 15, 2021, Alfred Mutua and his wife Lilian Nganga announced their divorce on social media. They were married for five years.
Lilian Nganga posted on Instagram that she had separated from Matua. She said:
“Winds of change blew my way and two months ago, I decided to end my long term relationship with Dr Alfred Mutua. We had a good run and I am forever grateful to God he brought us together. We remain friends.”

“With this, I put down the Machakos first lady cap and what an honour it has been to be of service I will continue to do projects close to my heart, charity work through the Lilian Nganga Foundation,” she added.
Matua confirmed the separation that took place eight weeks ago adding they still remain friends despite their marriage coming to an end.
“She will be a close advisor as I Govern Machakos County and run for President because I trust her sharp insight and heart. She has always been my number one fan,”
“Lillian has been an excellent First Lady and even though she will do some projects under the Lillian Nganga foundation, we have agreed she can continue with her county projects,” Mutua added.
