Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hoima, Albert Edward Baharagate Akiiki was a Ugandan priest and Roman Catholic. He died on April 5, 2023. He was named the bishop of Hoima on 7 July 1969, and he resigned on 9 March 1991. At the Nsambya hospital in Kampala, Uganda’s capital, he passed away on April 5, 2023.

Baharagate was born on February 25, 1930, in Nyamigisa Village, Masindi District, Bunyoro Sub-region, Western Region of Uganda. On December 7, 1958, he received his priestly ordination.

On July 7, 1969, Pope Paul VI nominated him Bishop of Hoima, and on August 1, 1969, he was ordained a bishop there with the help of Titular Archbishop of Iconium, Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli.
