President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared that the power supply issues in Ghana, often referred to as “dumsor,” have been effectively resolved.

During the May Day celebration in Accra, he shared his positive outlook that the power outages which had affected the country are now over. He thanked the people of Ghana for their patience and support during the difficult times.

The President mentioned that the problems with transformers and gas supply, which had caused disruptions in the electricity supply, have been fixed, leading to a significant improvement in the reliability of power.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo noted that there has been a stable electricity supply recently, with no reports of load-shedding.
He concluded by saying that for the last seven years, his administration has worked hard to ensure a consistent electricity supply and he is confident that the era of “dumsor” will not make a comeback.
