Responding to allegations of financial incentives for his political allegiance, Agya Koo challenged anyone to prove such transactions, stating that no money was deposited into any of his bank accounts from the party.

He also dismissed claims that other Kumawood actors have joined him in supporting the NPP, noting that only Matilda Asare collaborated with him.

Recently seen campaigning for the NPP parliamentary candidate in Ejisu, Kwabena Boateng, ahead of the scheduled by-elections, Agya Koo reiterated his unwavering support for the party, emphasizing his genuine belief in its values.
