AGN President Says Junior Pope’s Mother Believes Her Son Was Murdered

The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, recently shared some heartbreaking insights about the tragic demise of actor Junior Pope.

According to Rollas, Junior Pope’s mother is struggling with the belief that her son’s death wasn’t accidental.

The AGN President disclosed that Junior Pope’s mother finds it hard to accept that her son drowned, suspecting foul play instead.

Rollas clarified that efforts were made to save Junior Pope’s life, including performing CPR after he was retrieved from the water.

He debunked rumors suggesting otherwise, emphasizing that Junior Pope was unfortunately pronounced dead after spending over four hours submerged in the water.

Junior Pope was among five actors who lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State. The tragic incident occurred while they were returning from a movie shoot on April 10.

The burial arrangements for the late actor commenced with a requiem mass in Delta State on April 23, followed by tributes and ceremonies in Enugu.

Finally, Junior Pope will be laid to rest in his hometown of Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, with a series of solemn ceremonies planned to honor his memory.
