Dr. Ejezie Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has lifted the suspension on film producer Adanma Luke.

Adanma, known for producing Another Side of Life, faced suspension following the tragic drowning of Junior Pope and four crew members in the Anam River during filming.
The AGN’s General Secretary, Abubarkar Yakubu, announced the decision in a statement, noting that the suspension was being removed as a gesture of support and understanding.
In addition to lifting the suspension on Adanma Luke, the AGN President has also removed the ban on filming in riverine areas.

However, he emphasized the importance of adhering to safety regulations as outlined in the AGN bylaws.
This move aims to ensure that such tragic incidents are prevented in the future while allowing filmmakers to continue their work with proper safety measures in place.
Junior Pope, a talented actor, tragically lost his life while working on the film Another Side of Life. During the filming, he and four crew members drowned in the Anam River after completing several scenes.
The incident was a devastating blow to the film industry and particularly to those close to the production.
