African Cup of Nations qualifying matches will continue in Group L on November 16, 2020, as Sierra Leone hosts Nigeria at the national stadium.

Sierra Leone will on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 host the super eagles of Nigeria for the second encounter of the group matches. Sierra Leone managed to share spoils with Nigeria at the Benin City after conceding four goals in the first half.

First-half goals from Alex Iwobi banging brace, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chekweze were not enough to secure victory for the host when Sierra Leone bounced back in the second half. K.Quee, M. Bundu and a brace from A. Kamara restored parity for the visitors.

The two countries have met twice with the third encounter coming off tomorrow. Nigeria has won one which came in an international friendly match in 2011 before the draw on last Friday, November 13, 2020.

Nigeria leads the Group L table with 7 points followed by Benin with 6 before Sierra Leone who are third on the table with 2 points and then Lesotho with just a point.

Tawel Camara Younoussa from Guinea will be the centre referee and supported by Sidiki Sidibe, Abdoulaye Sylla, and Bangaly Konate as the fourth official. The match will kick-off at 4 pm in Sierra Leone and 5 pm Nigeria time.
