Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has captivated fans with a recount of his first journey outside Nigeria, a story that brings to light the power of passion and perseverance.

In a recently shared video, Gold revealed that his inaugural trip abroad took place in 2015, spurred by the success of his hit song “Shade.”
Reflecting on his journey, Gold stated, “The first time I ever traveled out of Nigeria was in 2015. Guess what took me out? One song, ‘Shade.’ I had ‘Shade’ and ‘Orente’ then. And since then, I think I’ve been to 35 countries.”
The singer’s journey began with humble aspirations. “I always wanted to travel as a child but where I see the money,” he shared, emphasizing the challenges he faced before achieving success.
