Veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Bruno Iwuoha, has passed on. The news was announced by a friend and colleague of the actor, Derik Zai.

According to him, Bruno Iwuoha died after battling with diabetes for years and reportedly went blind before his death. He also mentioned that the actor was in a coma for about 3 weeks before he passed on.
Reacting to this, the Actors Guild of Nigeria issued a statement signed by the communications director to mourn the death of the actor.

Chief Bruno stared in many movies during his days in Nollywood. He won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 3rd African Movie Academy Awards for his performance in the movie, Sins of the Flesh.
The statement reads;
“It is on a sad note that we announce the passing away of our elder colleague and active member of AGN Abuja, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha. He died in the early hours of this morning (10/04/2021) after a prolonged battle with diabetes.
Bruno Iwuoha hails from Ehime Mbano Local Government Area in Umunumo Umuanunu kindred, Imo state. He was aged 68 years, survived by his wife and six children.”
