In his petition submitted to CHRAJ on May 16, he is urging the anti-corruption agency to halt the sale of these hotels.
Additionally, Mr. Ablakwa claimed in his petition that he has obtained documents indicating that negotiations for selling a 60% share of six SSNIT-owned hotels to Rock City Hotel Limited, owned by Hon. Bryan Acheampong, are nearly complete.
The hotels in question include Labadi Beach Hotel, La Palm Royal Beach Resort, Elmina Beach Resort, Ridge Royal Hotel, Busua Beach Resort, and Trust Lodge Hotel.
However, SSNIT clarified that Rock City Hotel Limited presented the most impressive technical and financial proposal among all submissions, fulfilling all requirements outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
