Nigerian billionaire business mogul, the founder, chairman, and the Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, an industrial conglomerate in Africa, Aliko Dangote, is the richest black man in the world.

Aliko Dangote was born into a Muslim family in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. A great-grandson of former and the late West African Richest Man, Alhaji Alhassan Dantata, died in 1955. Aliko Dangote was born on April, 10, 1957.

He owns 85% of publicly traded Dangote Cement through a holding company. The Dangote Cement produces 45.6 million metric tons annually and operates in over 10 countries across Africa. It is the largest producer of cement on the continent. He is often referred to as African Warren Buffet because he is a great investor.

 

Dangote’s earnings have come from his strategic investment plan. He earns from his investment in Sugar, Flour, and Cement and has the third-largest sugar refinery in the world. The King of Cement is worth $9B dollars according to Forbes.
