Doug Clark: ‘Sunset strip killer’ dies in prison

American serial killer and necrophile Douglas Daniel Clark lived from March 10, 1948, until October 11, 2023. The Sunset Strip Killers, which included Clark and his accomplice Carol Mary Bundy, are thought to be responsible for the deaths of at least seven people. However, they are also suspected in the murders of numerous additional women and young girls.

Clark was found guilty in 1983 after being accused with six murders in Los Angeles, California. The majority of Clark’s victims were adolescent runaways or young prostitutes, and they were beheaded and their severed heads were preserved as souvenirs. On their bodies, he would also engage in sexual practices.

Douglas Clark, 75, passed away on Thursday at the San Quentin Rehabilitation Center while serving six consecutive death sentences.
Six women died at the hands of Clark, a renowned murderer and necrophile known as the “Sunset Strip Killer,” in the 1980s.
The man passed away from “natural causes,” according to state officials.
