He also played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2001, the Boston Red Sox in 2004 and 2007, and the Philadelphia Phillies in 1993. He assisted the Phillies in reaching the World Series.

With a postseason record of 11-2 and a postseason winning % of 846, Curt Schilling set a major league record for pitchers with at least 10 shutouts. Schilling also retired with a postseason record of 11-2. The only inactive player with a higher strikeout-to-walk ratio, he is a member of the 3,000 strikeout club.

With 300 strikeouts, he finished third most of the time. Radio host Curt Schilling was engaged by the Howie Carr Radio Network to host a sports show on Saturday mornings.
