Former British politician Chaudhry Sarwar is married to his wife, Perveen Sarwar.

Perveen is the founder of the Sarwar Foundation. She was born in Pakistan and raised in Scotland, but returned to Pakistan in 2013 to spearhead initiatives for women’s empowerment.

Her creation of skill training centers, known as HunarGahs, has opened doors for women to acquire new skills, start businesses, and secure employment, ultimately transforming lives.

Before making waves in Pakistani politics, Chaudhry Sarwar was a Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom, representing Glasgow Central from 1997 to 2010.

He was a trailblazer as the UK’s first Muslim Member of Parliament and actively contributed by serving on the Scottish Affairs Select Committee.

Born in Pirmahal, Punjab, his dynamic political career exemplifies his dedication to public service, regardless of national borders and party boundaries.
