Chris O’Dowd is once again playing an Irishman in an American context in a new series for Apple TV+. The Co Roscommon native stars in a new comedy entitled “The Big Door Prize”, based on the book of the same name by M.O. Walsh.

O’Dowd’s career has continued to flourish, with notable appearances in films like “This Is 40” (2012), “The Sapphires” (2012), and “St. Vincent” (2014). He has also ventured into writing, and co-authoring books based on his series “Moone Boy.”
