Michael Crabtree Parents: Meet Michael Crabtree Sr., and Bessie Turner

From 2009 through 2019, Michael Crabtree, a retired American football player, competed in the National Football League. Michael participated for his team as a wide receiver. The nation’s top wide receiver, Crabtree, received the Fred Biletnikoff Award.

Crabtree received an athletic scholarship to attend Texas Tech University after graduating from high school. He has 134 receptions for 1,962 yards and 22 touchdowns at the end of his rookie season despite being redshirted.

Crabtree had a standout season as a sophomore and was even included on the Xbox 360 version of NCAA Football 10’s cover. Michael’s achievements at Texas Tech have earned him a number of awards. Michael signed a three-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2018, however the team waived him in February 2019.

Michael Crabtree was born Michael Alex Crabtree Jr. in Dallas, Texas, on September 14, 1987. He is one of the two kids that Michael Crabtree Sr. and Bessie Turner had together. Todd Crabtree is the brother of Michael. Crabtree enrolled at Texas Tech University after completing his high school studies at David W. Carter High School.
