Where is Nick Fairley now? What happened to Nick Fairley?

Former defensive tackle in American football, Nicholas Fairley was born on January 23, 1988. As a member of a BCS National Championship team and an All-American while playing college football at Auburn University, he was honored with both accolades. In the opening round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions selected Fairley. Besides the New Orleans Saints, he has also played for the St. Louis Rams.

Four days after the 2011 BCS National Championship, Fairley made the decision to forego his final year of eligibility and join the 2011 NFL Draft. His early draft projection had him going first overall. His draft status was predicted to be between 8 and 12 after the NFL Combine. The Detroit Lions selected Fairley with the 13th overall selection in the first round.

Where is Nick Fairley now?

Nick Fairley hasn’t been mentioned much since he gave up playing football. Fairley was detained on criminal menacing charges on December 1, 2018, after he allegedly threatened someone with a gun.

What happened to Nick Fairley?

Fairley has encountered the law several times since joining the NFL. Fairley was detained for marijuana possession in Mobile, Alabama, on April 3, 2012. December 2012 saw the dismissal of the charges.

Fairley was detained by Alabama State Troopers on May 27, 2012, for drunken driving and evading arrest. Additionally, he received citations for dangerous driving, driving while intoxicated, and driving without an insurance card.
