Former English footballer and manager Kevin Keegan won the UEFA Champions League during his playing career.

Keegan helped Liverpool win the League Championship and the European Cup (now known as the UEFA Champions League) in 1976-77.
This victoris came shortly after he joined Liverpool from Hamburger SV, and they marked a period of European success for the club.

Kevin Keegan also achieved significant success in domestic and other European competitions, including multiple league titles, domestic cups, and the UEFA Cup (now known as the UEFA Europa League).
Widely recognized as one of the greatest football players of all time, Keegan was known for his dribbling prowess, as well as his finishing and presence in the air.
He retired from playing in 1984. He scored 204 goals in 592 appearances in his club career, adding 21 goals in 63 caps for the English national team.
