Frances Xavier Cabrini parents: Meet Agostino Cabrini & Stella Oldini

Italian-American Catholic religious sister Frances Xavier Cabrini, usually known as Mother Cabrini, lived from July 15, 1850, to December 22, 1917. She established the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a religious organization that provided vital assistance to other Italian immigrants to the country. On July 7, 1946, she became the first American to be declared a saint by the Catholic Church.

The Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC) were established in November 1880 by Cabrini and seven additional women who had taken religious vows alongside her. She was the author of the religious institute’s Rule and Constitutions and served as its superior general until her passing.

Agostino Cabrini and Stella Oldini were her parents; they had a little property. She was born two months early, and her condition was already precarious.
