Actor born in Liverpool Jake Abraham, who gained fame for his part in the movie Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, has passed away at the age of 56.
In addition to movies like Mean Machine and Formula 51, the actor also starred in the 1991 Channel 4 series GBH.

Abraham disclosed in July that he was getting palliative treatment after obtaining a prostate cancer diagnosis earlier this year. At the time, he advised people not to wait until it was “too late” to check for early indications of cancer.

In Liverpool’s Toxteth, Abraham was born. He started performing in the 1980s at the Everyman Youth Theatre and worked as an actor for four decades on stage and in films. In Guy Ritchie’s 1998 British gangster movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, he played Dean.
