Late sports journalist Jim Caple did not disclose information regarding his children when he was alive. Jim was married to his wife, Vicki, but little is known about his children.

Jim passed away on October 1, 2023, after a long battle with ALS and dementia. He was aged 61.

The University of Washington alumnus began his journey in journalism while on campus and served as editor of the school newspaper, The Daily.
Jim went on to write three books – “The Devil Wears Pinstripes”; “Caple, Jim; Buckley, Steve”; and ‘The Navigator” – which he published in 2005, 2006 and 2019 respectively.
His book “The Devil Wears Pinstripes” delves into the passionate fans of baseball’s twenty-six-time World Champions while presenting a unique perspective on the New York Yankees, who have experienced defeat in thirteen World Series.
