Miguel Merentiel is a football star who plays as a forward for Defensa y Justicia, Palmeira, and Argentine Primera División club Boca Juniors.

Miguel was born on February 24, 1996, in Paysandú, Uruguay, and began playing youth football with the clubs Independencia Paysandú, Bella Vista Paysand, and Peñarol.

Miguel made his senior career debut with Peñarol in 2017, in a game against CA Cerro, after which he signed a one-year loan contract with Segunda División side Lorca FC.

In 2019, Miguel began playing for Argentine club Godoy Cruz for a fee of about 175.000 euros. In 2020, he joined Defensa y Justicia on loan, and after two seasons, he signed a four-year permanent contract with the club.

Other clubs Miguel has played for on loan include Primera División club El Tanque Sisley, and Valencia Mestalla.
