Who Is Miguel Merentiel?
Miguel Merentiel is a football player who plays the forward position for Defensa y Justicia, Palmeira, and Argentine Primera División club Boca Juniors.
Born on February 24, 1996, in Paysandú, Uruguay, Miguel played youth football with Independencia Paysandú, Bella Vista Paysand, and Peñarol.

Miguel turned pro with Peñarol in 2017, in a match against CA Cerro.

In the same year, he signed a one-year loan contract with Segunda División side Lorca FC.
In 2019, Miguel joined Argentine club Godoy Cruz for a fee of about 175.000 euros. In 2020, he was loaned to Defensa y Justicia and after two seasons, he signed a permanent contract with the club set to expire in 2024.
In 2022, Miguel agreed to a four-year deal with Palmeiras, and in 2023, he began playing for Boca Juniors on loan with a trade option of US$3 million.
Other clubs he has played for on loan include Primera División club El Tanque Sisley, and Valencia Mestalla.
