Is Garth Snow still with the Islanders?

After being selected by the Québec Nordiques in the sixth round of the 1987 NHL Draft, Garth Snow played collegiate hockey for the University of Maine. Over 365 NHL games were played by goalkeeper Snow with the Nordiques, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and New York Islanders.

He also participated in a portion of the 2004–2005 Russian season with SKA St. Petersburg. Snow competed for the United States in the 1998 World Championships and the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Snow was appointed general manager of the New York Islanders shortly after leaving the NHL in 2006. Later, the company made him its president. He worked with the Islanders for more than ten years in administration before being voted NHL Executive of the Year in 2007.

Is Garth Snow still with the Islanders?

Now a free agent, former Islanders general manager Garth Snow “would love to get back” to the NHL. Just a few weeks after Lou Lamoriello took over as general manager of the Islanders in 2018, Garth Snow officially retired from the position a little more than five years ago.
