Former British gymnast Louis Smith has won bronze and silver medals in three straight Olympics. The British earned two silver medals at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics in addition to a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Louis was also a member of the Great Britain team that won the men’s artistic team all-around bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. Louis has made great strides to reach his current level after beginning his gymnastics training and education at a young age. His actual professional career, nevertheless, didn’t begin until 2004.

He took home the bronze in the Pommel Horse final of the competition. In the same year, he won a silver medal in the World Cup in Ghent.

Smith, who once again competed for Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, came in second place to teammate Whitlock in the pommel horse final.
