Suzanne Morphew, a 49-year-old mother of two, went missing on May 10, 2020, after going on a bike ride on Mother’s Day.

Her bike was discovered the day she went missing, abandoned in a gully near her mountain home in Salida, 140 miles south of Denver.

Investigators discovered her scattered remains 50 miles from her bike in Moffat, Saguache County while looking into an unrelated crime.

She had been buried in a shallow grave, the coroner had been called, and her bones had dispersed over the years.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation announced on Wednesday that no arrests had been made since the bodies were discovered on September 22. Her identity was revealed on September 27.
