According to the Mayo Clinic, in the early stages of biliary tract cancer, there are generally no symptoms. It is frequently identified by chance, for example, during normal blood testing or imaging for an unrelated reason.
Stephen Gould was a heroic tenor who performed in several of the world’s great opera houses. In 2006, he made his Bayreuth debut in Richard Wagner’s “Ring” cycle, gaining glowing reviews over the demanding four-night run.
The Associated Press described him as “a naturally engaging performer, unusually athletic and youthful as befits the teenage hero” during his performance of the third “Ring” musical, “Siegfried.”
