Who Is Brooklyn Raines?

Brooklyn Raines is a soccer player who represents the United States national under-19 team, and plays the midfielder position for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo.

Raines was born on March 11, 2005, in Monrovia, Liberia, and began his soccer career at age five.

During his youth career, he trained with Inter FC Chicago, and the Barça Residency Academy.

Raines made his senior career debut in 2021 with USL Championship club El Paso Locomotive, during a match against LA Galaxy II, and had finished the season with three appearances.

In 2022, Raines got signed with MLS club Houston Dynamo, making his debut for the team against Rio Grande Valley FC in a U.S. Open Cup game.

He became the youngest player in Dynamo history to appear in the game.

On the other hand, Raines represents the United States U19 team in international youth matches, and has proven himself to be one of the best midfielders in the country.
