During his time in the MLB, Brandon Phillips played for the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Angels, and Boston Red Sox.

Phillips was chosen in 1999 by the Montreal Expos. Phillips evolved into one of the top second basemen in baseball after joining the Cincinnati Reds.
Brandon Phillips won four Rawlings Gold Glove Awards, one Silver Slugger Award, and was named to three National League All-Star teams during his time in Cincinnati.
He became the only player in MLB history to hit two three-run home runs, collect seven RBIs, and steal two bases in the same game. Following this performance, his uniform and cleats from that game were displayed in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
