Reiky de Valk obituary

Skam NL actor Reiky de Valk passed away in September 2023, at the age of 23.

Since the news of his demise was made public, tributes have poured in from across the globe.

“Our heart Reiky de Valk has passed away. He touched so many lives with his love, his talent and his art. We will be deeply missed”, his management agency, Favor Talents wrote on Instagram.

Who Was Reiky de Valk?

Reiky de Valk was a Dutch actor famous for playing the character of Kes de Beus in the teen drama series Skam NL.

Reiky was of Vietnamese, and Somali heritage, with his paternal grandfather originating from the Dhulbahante clan family in Somalia.

Reiky had attended the Amsterdamse Jeugdtheaterschool and then launched his acting career upon graduation.

He starred in several films including Voltooid Verleden Tijd (2021), De Overkammer (2021), and #No_Filter (2022), where he played the character of Tyler.

Reiky is credited for many TV series including Scam NL, Hunter Street, Onze straat, Modern Love Amsterdam, Follow de SOA, Dertigers, Hockeyvaders, and Harry Potter, in which he played the role of James Potter.

Reiky had appeared as Josh in the adventure series Hunter Street, and played Thomas in the TV series Dertigers.
