She is the daughter of Brian Dolehide and  Mary Catherine. Dolehide grew up in the Chicago suburbs and began playing tennis at the age of five.

Courtney, her older sister, played college tennis at UCLA, taught women’s tennis at UT Austin, and was named head coach of both men’s and women’s tennis at Georgetown in 2018.

Stephanie, her younger sister, also plays tennis and has committed to West Point. Brian, her brother, is a collegiate golfer at Florida Atlantic University.

Caroline Dolehide is primarily known for her career in women’s singles and doubles tennis. Caroline Dolehide turned professional in 2017 and has competed on the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) Tour.

She reached a career-high ranking of world No. 42 on September 25, 2023, and No. 21 in doubles in May 2022. She has one WTA Tour title and one WTA 125 doubles trophy, as well as 18 ITF Women’s Circuit titles, eight in singles and ten in doubles.

Her aggressive style of play and powerful groundstrokes have made her a competitive player in women’s tennis. Dolehide has also represented the United States in international tennis competitions, including the Fed Cup.
