Alyssa Ungrady is a nurse and the wife of Alex Highsmith, an American football outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL).

The two made their relationship public when they shared their first picture together on June 15, 2019, with Alyssa quoting, “Ain’t it funny how life changes #VeryHotSummertour.”
Alex Highsmith proposed to his wife in May 2021 after two years of dating. They got married on June 25, 2022.
Alex and Alyssa married at Crystal Coast Country Club, which is set on the coastline in one of the few remaining coastal forests on the island of Bogue Banks.

Alyssa Marie Ungrady was born on October 20, 1999. Throughout her high school and undergraduate careers, she participated in cross country and track and field.
She went to Great Oak High School, where she helped her team win four CIF SS and Southwestern titles.
Alyssa Ungrady attended UNC Charlotte after graduating from high school, where she met her future husband, Alex. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2020.
