Atlético Madrid’s offensive midfielder Pablo Barrios was born in Spain on June 15, 2003.
Barrios was a Real Madrid and ED Moratalaz youth product before transferring to the Atlético Madrid club in 2017. He started his career with the reserves in January 2022 after moving up their junior sides.

Barrios committed to Atleti on March 3, 2022, inking his first professional deal that would keep him there through 2025. On October 29, in a 3-2 away loss to Cádiz CF, he made his professional debut and La Liga debut, replacing Geoffrey Kondogbia in the second half. On January 4, 2023, he scored Atlético’s second goal in a 2-0 victory over Real Oviedo, marking his first career goal.
