Why was Taylor Swift at Kansas City Chiefs game?

American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift was part of the crowd cheering on the Chiefs in their matchup against the Chicago Bears Sunday, September 24 2023.

She and Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, watched the game from Kelce’s suite. Throughout the game, the duo could be seen sitting shoulder to shoulder, conversing and laughing together.

The Grammy winner wore a red-and-white Chiefs jacket, which she later tucked around her waist as she exited the stadium.

Taylor Swift’s attendance at the stadium comes only days after Travis Kelce invited her to the game while on The Pat McAfee Show podcast.

According to a source, when Swift learned about the invitation, she didn’t allow her busy schedule stop her from accepting.

“Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends,” the source said. “Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said ‘yes.’”

Travis Kelce caught the ball in the back of the end zone with only seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, putting his side up 41-0 against the Bears.

Taylor Swift was seen bouncing up and down in his suite after scoring. The game was won by the Chiefs by a score of 41-10.
