Proctor participated actively in Ohio State’s defensive secondary in the previous season. The 6-foot-2 senior from Owasso, Oklahoma, registered two pass deflections in addition to 14 solo tackles for a total of 21 stops.

Proctor made a total of six tackles and deflected a pass during a nighttime home game against the Wisconsin Badgers. In the end, the Buckeyes won 52-21.

The Buckeyes football team included other players at Summer Commencement besides the two seniors. During the offseason, defensive back Lloyd McFarquhar, kicker Noah Ruggles, and tight end Mitch Rossi all finished their masters degrees.
Proctor is a long, athletic safety who will need to put on weight and develop his finishing skills if he wants to succeed at the next level.
