Angel Yin is an American golfer who plays on the LPGA Ladies European Tour.

Yin was born on October 3, 1998, in Los Angeles, California, and began playing golf at a very young age.

She won the Junior World Golf Championships at age 7, and the California State Women’s Amateur at age 12.

In 2012, Yin became the second youngest player in history to participate at the U.S. Women’s Open.

In 2015, she played in the Junior Solheim Cup, and turned professional the following year.

Known for her “powerful swing”, Yin ranked top five as of 2017 and was selected to captain the Solheim Cup, after scoring 1.5 points in 3 matches.

Yin has subsequently played in a number of LPGA major championships such as the Chevron Championship, the Women’s PGA championship, the U.S. Women’s Open, the Women’s British Open, and the Evian Championship.

So far, she has recorded only one professional win in her career – the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic in 2017.
