Chevan Cordeiro, a quarterback for the American college football team, has been a member of the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors since 2018.
Cordeiro went to school in Honolulu at Saint Louis School. Tua Tagovailoa was his primary competition, therefore he wasn’t officially declared the starting quarterback until his senior year.

With almost 3,000 total yards and 39 touchdowns in his lone season as the starter, Cordeiro led his team to a perfect 10-0 record and the Open Division state championship. The Star-Advertiser’s Offensive Player of the Year and the Gatorade Hawaii Football Player of the Year for the state both went to him.

As the sole offer he received was to play collegiate football at Hawaii, Cordeiro’s recruitment effort was mild compared to that of his predecessor, Tagovailoa.
