Devin Mockobee, an American football running back who presently represents the Purdue Boilermakers, was born on January 18, 2003.
Mockobee attended Boonville High School and was raised in Boonville, Indiana. Mockobee rushed for 3,568 yards and 45 touchdowns throughout his high school career. Additionally, he hauled in 21 catches for 357 yards and three scores.

119 tackles, including two for a loss, two sacks, 13 pass deflections, five fumble recoveries, and four interceptions were recorded by Mockobee while also playing as a defensive back. In a 43-35 defeat against Gibson Southern during his senior year, Mockobee put on a career-best effort, rushing for 415 yards on 27 carries and scoring five touchdowns. Mockobee first made the choice to sign with Navy to play college football.
