American professional football player Hubert Ginn passed away from an unknown cause on September 21, 2023. He was aged 76.

Who Was Hubert Ginn?
Hubert Ginn was a former professional footballer who played as a running back for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1969 to 1978.
Ginn played high school football at Tompkins (Savannah) and college football at Florida A&M.

In 1970, Ginn was drafted by the Miami Dolphins as 211th overall pick, in the 9th round of the NFL draft.

After three seasons with the Dolphins, the two-time Superbowl champion was traded to the Baltimore Colts, where he played for one season. Afterwards, he made a comeback to the Dolphins and played for another one season.
He had played in a number of Championship games including the AFC Championship.
Ginn joined the Oakland Raiders in 1976, and remained with the team until his retirement in 1978.
Ginn was born in Georgia in 1947. He is survived by a daughter and two grandsons.
