Who got released from WWE in 2023?

On Thursday, September 2023, the WWE dismissed several wrestlers as due to of the release of new broadcast rights as a result of a large merger.

According to Sean Ross Sapp, Dolph Ziggler and Shelton Benjamin are among the WWE superstars reportedly fired.

Ziggler is a former world heavyweight champion who had been with the business for 20 years. Benjamin was a multiple-time champion who confirmed his release. Elias, who did not officially corroborate Sapp’s story, tweeted about his WWE trip.

Mustafa Ali, Emma, Madcap Moss, and Aliyah, the former WWE women’s tag team champion, all officially acknowledged their releases on social media.

More layoffs are anticipated throughout the day. The most recent wave of releases follows the publication of TKO. TKO is a media conglomerate formed by Endeavour following the merger of WWE and UFC parent company Zuffa.
