Born on January 9, 1994, in Tucson, Arizona, U.S., Blake played football at Canyon del Oro High School in Arizona, before he proceeded to Stanford University, where he played for the Cardinals.

While at Stanford, Blake was named to the first-team All-Pac-12 team in 2015.

In 2016, he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers as 131st overall pick, in the Fourth round of the NFL draft.
